Working under the new Licensing Act 2003, our new style liquor license enables us to bring to you a retail bar service.
There must still be a minimum of 14 days to go before your event, this gives us time to complete the necessary statutory paperwork and to pay the fees within the timescale prescribed by the law to enable the bar service to go ahead.
The number of people attending the event must not exceed 499 at any one time.
There are a number of other rules that could effect this service, these will be discussed further should you wish to take advantage.
Please be aware that whilst we will make every effort to ensure your guests will have a fantastic time, our bar service comes with certain inherent responsibilities, we must, under law, reserve the right not to serve alcoholic beverages to anyone our staff believes to be under the age of 18 and who cannot prove otherwise using commonly accepted photographic evidence. We must also refuse to serve anyone who we believe to be intoxicated to the extent that serving them may pose a heightened risk of them causing harm or distress to themselves, your guests or to our staff. In such cases the decision of our staff will be final and absolute.
In addition, should our staff feel it necessary or appropriate for whatever reason that the bar service should be suspended or withdrawn at any time during the event then their decision will be final – should you wish to take advantage of this service a more detailed explanation of our terms and conditions will be supplied.
